Street Lights
Highley Parish Council maintain a large number of Street Lights in the Parish. A document with their locations is attached below.
Any Street Light not listed is maintained by Shropshire Council who can be contact on www.shropshire.gov.uk
Street Furniture
Highley Parish Council also maintain all of the Bus Shelters, Benches and Litter Bins within the Parish, and the four HPC noticeboards offering up-to-date information for the community.
Floral Displays
From April 2016 Highley Parish Council are responsible for commissioning the work on the Floral Displays throughout the village.
Christmas Lights
The Parish Council erect both a village Christmas Tree and Lights in the village centre each Festive Period
CCTV
The CCTV system which operates throughout the village is owned and maintained by the Parish Council (see the CCTV policy updated 2023)
Severn Centre
In partnership with Shropshire Council and Halo Leisure we jointly fund services at the Severn Centre
Defibrillators
The Parish Council regularly check the defibrillators in the central areas of the village (outside CostCutter) and the end of Redstone Drive (both installed in former telephone kiosks)
